Metric Insights is looking for an experienced and passionate Sales Development Representative who can help build lead generation processes in support of our enterprise sales team. You must be motivated to make dozens of calls a day and craft imaginative campaigns to generate interest, and qualify prospects.

This is an opportunity for someone who has a solid grounding in SDR best practices to bring their knowledge to the sales and marketing team, as well as gain coaching and experience to build their own sales skills. This position would suit someone who is passionate about sales and has ambitions to grow into a sales development manager or move into an enterprise sales rep role.

Metric Insights is a pioneer in the Business Intelligence space, selling a Push Intelligence platform to Fortune 1000 companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting into new clients via cold calling and email campaigns
  • Discovering new leads through internet research and social media monitoring/messaging, using tools such as LinkedIn Navigator
  • Managing prospecting status, data integrity, and forecasting in Salesforce.com
  • Achieving, and exceeding, monthly goals
  • Responding to inbound customer interest and developing these accounts to create opportunities
  • Working with marketing to coordinate and develop lead generation campaigns
  • Giving high level overview presentations to prospects

Requirements

  • Must have 2+ years of sales development experience in enterprise software
  • Preferred knowledge of the Business Intelligence or Data Analytics space
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • A strong interest in building a career in sales
  • Go-getter attitude that displays initiative and persistence
  • Self-disciplined, organized and ambitious
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com
  • Full-time, office based in San Francisco
