We are looking for an exceptional Sales Engineer to join the Sales & Marketing team. As an early member, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of technical support during the sales cycle, as well as help craft a scalable model for the Sales Engineering team as the organization grows.

Role

  • Build product demos
  • Understand and uncover business challenges faced by prospects
  • Present the Metric Insights value proposition and product
  • Engage with technical teams to present the Metric Insights architecture
  • Create and present custom demos
  • Engage with business and technical users to implement proof of concepts and pilots
  • Respond to product, technical, and security-related RFPs/RFIs
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel as needed

 

Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent work experience
  • Thorough understanding of BI concepts
  • Experience with data modeling
  • Excellent SQL skills
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, OBIEE, Bobj, Cognos, MicroStrategy, etc)
  • Hands-on experience with web development languages (Javascript, HTML, CSS)
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
