We are looking for an exceptional Sales Engineer to join the Sales & Marketing team. As an early member, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of technical support during the sales cycle, as well as help craft a scalable model for the Sales Engineering team as the organization grows.
- Build product demos
- Understand and uncover business challenges faced by prospects
- Present the Metric Insights value proposition and product
- Engage with technical teams to present the Metric Insights architecture
- Create and present custom demos
- Engage with business and technical users to implement proof of concepts and pilots
- Respond to product, technical, and security-related RFPs/RFIs
- Willingness and flexibility to travel as needed
- B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent work experience
- Thorough understanding of BI concepts
- Experience with data modeling
- Excellent SQL skills
- Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, OBIEE, Bobj, Cognos, MicroStrategy, etc)
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
